ABOUT CHARITY

Charity was born on May 2, 1973 to Gig and Candie Comella in Providence Lyon Inn Hospital, Rhode Island. She and her family moved to Westminister, CA when she was only 8 months old. As a child, Charity was a HAM, entertaining her family and friends when ever she could! (Some things never change!)

In elementary school, Charity did some acting and landed roles in TJ Hooker, Simon & Simon, Matt Houston, Airplane II, McDonald's Commercial, Still the Beaver and a few other.

In high school, Charity was a cheerleader 3 out of the 4 years, Stat Girl for wrestling, Homecoming Queen, lettered in Home Economics and she and her friends won the lip sync contest as the Go Go's and got to open for the Beach Boys at the Balloon & Wine Festival, 1991. 

After graduation, Charity went to Royal College of Beauty, graduating from the beauty school, but never getting her license. 

She worked at Stadium Pizza and then opened with Chili's Temecula until she moved to Kokomo, Indiana for a year, where she opened the Carmel Chili's.

After moving back to California, she worked in Orange County for a year until she was hired at Toyota of Temecula Valley by owner, Dan Atwood. There, she spent 6 years and became like family with the Atwood Family. 

Towards the end of her career with Toyota of Temecula, she stumbled into Gourmet Italia where she had an argumentative interaction with who she didn't realize was the owner and who would eventually become her "FOREVER". 

Today, they share a crazy, yet beautiful life with their 3 children; Mirella "Mimi" (Charity's bonus daughter), Luca and Logan. They also love their son in love, Ivan and are EXTREMELY proud Grandparents to their grandson, Carlo! 

Although Charity helps "behind the scenes" of their family businesses, Charity feels blessed to be trusted to run her non profit, Charity for Charity and couldn't be more honored to have the privilege of being able to do what she loves, on a daily basis!

Charity is someone who loves life, loves people and loves to have fun! 

She is a proud woman of faith and God is her life's guide.

Charity values spending time with those she loves and quality time is her love language.

Charity loves to make people smile and laugh! She will take one for the team if it means others will find joy in the outcome!

Bringing joy is her purpose and she takes great pride in this... she hopes to bring joy to you all on May 5th at her 50th birthday concert!
